NFL greats Troy Aikman and the late Reggie White headlined a full class of six inductees into this year's Pro Football Hall of Fame that was announced last February. It was called the most emotional announcement of a Pro Football Hall of Fame class in history. The formal induction ceremony of the class into the Hall of Fame will be on August 5.
The other members of this year's class are Harry Carson, John Madden, Warren Moon and Rayfield Wright. With six people being inducted this year, this class is also the biggest ever inducted since 2001.
Aikman was once renowned as the NFL's golden boy and one of the greatest quarterbacks of his era. He led the Dallas Cowboys to three Super Bowl titles in the 1990s. Today, Aikman is a television sportscaster for the Fox network and a joint owner of the NASCAR Nextel Cup racing team, Hall of Fame Racing, along with fellow former Cowboys quarterback, Roger Staubach.
White, nicknamed the "Minister of Defense," was one of football's most prolific sackers ever, either in college, the USFL and the NFL.. White also earned his nickname as reference to his Evangelical Christian ordination. He died suddenly in 2004 after suffering a fatal cardiac arrhythmia caused by the sarcoidosis he had lived with for years. During the 2005 season, three teams retired White's number 92 jersey.
Moon became the first African-American quarterback to ever be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Before him, no other African-American quarterback even got close to induction. Aikman and Moon followed Dan Marino, Steve Young and John Elway in a string of great quarterbacks to make the Hall in their first tries.
"To be the first African-American quarterback into the Hall of Fame, all African-American QBs who played before me should share in this," Moon said. "I don't want to make this a racial thing, but I think it is significant. It shows that we have arrived at the pinnacle of our sport."
And, of course, there is Madden, the coach-broadcaster-video game entrepreneur who holds the record for the best winning percentage of any NFL coach with 100 victories (.759). He coached the Oakland Raiders for 10 years and won the 1977 Super Bowl.

There are many ways on how to start with gas-powered RC car or truck. There are many realistic features offered by these remote-controlled cars and trucks. They come in a variety of styles and types in the industry. In choosing one, there are many considerations you should take before eventually owning one.
Radio-controlled cars and trucks lack the power and running time. But if you want to consider, you can convert them into gas powered RC cars, with the use of nitromethane-based fuel. This fuel provides RC cars a level or realism or performance, which are absent on other battery-powered vehicles. Aside from this, they are also highly customizable making it possible for you to integrate RC car accessories and personalize them. There are options of engines and transmitters available to allow you to choose one depending on how you'd want the RC car works.
To help you begin in finding the right gas-powered RC car, the following are the factors you should consider:
1. Engines. The most important aspect in a gas RC car, you can choose from the variety of engine models available to choose from. Generally, most RC cars use a specific type, which is commonly called as "glow" engine. It is a 2-cycle combustion engine, which creates power to the RC car preparing it for realism that also produces exhaust in the process. In replacement of spark plugs utilized by automotive engines, a "glow plug" is used for this engine. It is being heated in turn by a "glow starter." The heat will be held by the "glow plug" to which this is now used to fire engine strokes for rest of the running power.
2. Fuel. Just like the actual gasoline used in automobiles, the nitromethane-based gas fuel the RC cars. The fuel mixture is formulated with special lubricants so that it protects the engine from the excessive heat produced by the combustion process. The lubricants are the same with the gas-oil you use with your small engine equipments or some chainsaws. Accessories such as a special bottle pump may be needed to get nitro-fuel into your fuel tank of the RC car. Filters are also used on these cars and the same with your automobile they require replacement at a proper time interval.
3. Radio. Radio controller is used to control the RC car and could be same type used on electrically-powered RC cars. It is radio controller operates on 2-channel system that needs batteries to make it work. Additional batteries would be needed to power the receiver though there are other receivers that are fed from the motor itself.
4. Sport or competition. This is an aspect you most considered when choosing body style. There are different options for you; you have choices from sedans, trucks, buggies, stock cars, and other popular car models. These are basically available in two versions: sports, and competition version. Sports RC cars typically cost less than the car you intend to race, which of course would need more power and higher speeds. Ball bearings and oil shocks are some of the advanced options included for the competition RC car version.
Depending on the type you need, RC car kits and ready-to-car or RTR kits are available. If you are a beginner, RTR kits are what you need as this comes out of the box ready for the fuel. RC car kit, on the other hand, requires heavy work but allows you to decide how they would be put together.

DaimlerChrysler's Dodge division has definitely been making a name for itself over the last 10 years. No longer in the shadow of Chrysler or a copy of Plymouth, Dodge has its own vehicles stamped with its own unique personality. The Charger is Dodge's latest hot model ; what can Dodge do for an encore? Read on for all the exciting details!
Caliber - The compact Neon is dead and a replacement vehicle is waiting in the wings by the name of Caliber. Sporting Dodge's signature crosshair grille, the Caliber is like a Chrysler Pacifica but it is in the Chrysler PT Cruiser's size range. This five door wagon-like vehicle features jacked up wheel arches and a sloped roofline that tapers off to a rear hatch spoiler. On demand all wheel drive is predicted to be one of the car's options. Built on a Mitsubishi Lancer platform, the Caliber has been intended to go toe-to-toe with the VW Golf and Mazda three. The Caliber is predicted to debut in early 2006 as a 2007 model.
Nitro - Dodge gets a tiny SUV, the Nitro which is a rebadged and barely redone Jeep Liberty. As is customary with all up to date Dodges, the Nitro sports the Dodge crosshair grille and unique wheel arches. Everything else about the Nitro is expected to be nearly the same as the Freedom including engine and transmission selections. The Nitro is expected to debut late in 2006.
Charger Coupe - O.K , I am dreaming. So are a lot of people who are just itching for Dodge to release a two door version of the grand Charger. The word about Charger is this: half the folk like the sedan and the other half are disappointed it wasn't developed as a coupe. No confirmation has been made, but a coupe may show up in late 2007 joining with [not replacing] this sedan.
Love Those Vans - Chrysler is nearing the end of the life cycle for the current crop of minivans which still outsells any competitor on the market. Stow 'N Go has been such a preferred hit that any redesign will be built around this neat feature. Expect the newest rendition of the Caravan and the Chrysler City and Country to turn up a little time in 2008.
So, there you have it. The division that at one point gave us the Aries K and Omni now includes the Rattlesnake , Ram, Dakota, Durango, and a large number of other exciting vehicles. Dodge fans are pinching themselves hoping that it is not all a dream. Well, it is not and the approaching models guarantee to uphold Dodge's new found place in The Chrysler Group.
